To start off my research, I tried some physical editing techniques on some images that I had in my house - the images themselves are not my own.
Bleach
Burn
Burn with Red
Multiple Photocopies (Before & After)
Scratch and Collage
Drawing
While I liked some of the editing techniques, such as the burning and bleaching, because they were quite brutal and unique in their outcomes. I found the collaging and drawing a little too considered and uninteresting.
