I then tried a new technique wherein, I cut the image up into circles and then placed them back together again but squint. I felt as thought this was quite a fun way to distort the image, as I kept getting new results just through turning the circles slightly.
When first trying this technique, I ran into a couple of issues, the main one being that the circles I was drawing were not symmetrical - meaning that they didn't really work when put together. As can be seen in the examples above and below.
However, I then moved on to use a protractor. This really helped the images and made them appear a lot more neat and clean.
I then tried a really thin version with the protractor which I liked, however, I felt that the placement of the circles was a little too off-centre and just started to look confusing.
So, finally, I tried it with a protractor, skinnier lines and the circles just being slightly off-centre. I liked this technique as I felt that it was really interesting and unique, but ultimately decided that it wasn't quite as effective enough to be a final resolution.
